"Tis  fond of Irish ballads..,
and ball games in the spring
Likes a fiery sermon..,
old hymns.. he likes to sing
Spends hours trying to catch a fish..,
but then he lets it go
Digs in the earth.. he loves that scent..,
     delights when gardens grow
Two silver rails.. keep calling..,
like stars out on the sea
But with his loving family..,
'tis were he wants to be
Ay.. he likes his peanuts..,
and dunking.. well it's an art
when he's in that easy chair..,
     he'll sputter.. stop.. then start
'Tis fond of Irish ballads..,
and ball games in the spring
Ay.. likes those fiery sermons..,
old hymns.. he likes to sing
