Fall

Fall by James F. Higgins

Fall 2013

Descending down to mother earth..
     they dance without a care
Cool is felt at night-time..,
and fall is in the air
The canopy.. once so green..,
show off there shade's.. and hue's
And every-were you look..you see..,
     the season ending clue's
Flower's that stood regal..,
     began to wilt.. and droop
The bird seed it goes farther..,
     taking one less scoop
Squirrel's are busy digging..,
     to hide a winter's feast
Preparing too the rabbit's..,
     against the cold.. raw beast
Descending down to mother earth..,
     they dance without a care
Cool is felt at night-time..,
and fall is in the air
