Clan Administration  

The O'Higgins Clan Society is the modern corporate identity of the ancient O'Higgins Sept or Clan. Today, the activies of the O'Higgins include:

1) Maintaining a prescence on the world wide web (www.ohigginsclan.com)

2) Liasing with other clans and relevant organisations 

3) Representing the world wide Clan at meetings, gatherings, celebrations and other fora

4) Historical and genealogical research

5) DNA project

6) Clan Gatherings

7) Developing a Clan Archive and Collection of memorabilia related to the Clan's history

8) Maintaining an Executive Office in Dublin.

All of these activities are provided by members of the Clan's Árd Comhairle on a voluntary basis. However, there are costs involved in these activities and we estimate it currently costs about €3,000 euro per year to run the Clan organisation.
